A 14-year-old girl was stabbed by an illegal immigrant in Lowell Indiana while watching her brother's baseball game. Reports indicate that the stabbing was entirely random.
The migrant, Dimas Gabriel Yanez comes from Honduras and was previously deported from America in 2018. He traveled back to the United States - and is believed to have been involved in organized crime since.
After the stabbing, a manhunt ensued. Sheriff Oscar Martinez Jr. indicates that Yanez attempted to cut his hair to change his appearance and evade police. He was, however, caught and arrested.
The sheriff said “ “It’s believed [Yanez] was in the process of cutting his hair to change his appearance just before he was arrested - Investigators have learned Yanez had been deported to Honduras in 2018 and may have been engaged in criminal activity across the United States since returning to the country illegally.”
Time and time again migrant violence makes the news, illegals caught with criminal priors have skyrocketed to a more than 500% increase between 2020 and 2024 according to CBP data.
