Best Bets For Week 11 Of College Football

Best Bets For Week 11 Of College Football

What’s going on sports fans? It’s Week 11 of our College Football picks series and we're rolling after a profitable last week. Our guest pickers are RED-HOT picking three successful weeks in a row now. We’ve got some SEC clashes for the ages this weekend so let's keep the momentum rolling with some Week 11 picks!

  1. Memphis (-7) vs. Rice

The Friday Night Lights pick of the week, I’m riding with Memphis for this game. This Memphis offense is prolific, averaging 43 points per game over their last 3 games while Rice has lost to some pretty lackluster opponents while sitting at 3-6. With the game at Memphis tonight in primetime, I think Memphis QB Seth Henigan and the Tigers will send Rice packing.

Best Bet: Memphis -7

  1. Army (-3) vs. North Texas

The magical Army season can't end in the boondocks of North Texas right? To me, the line is incredibly low and that worries me that maybe Vegas knows something we don’t. My gut strongly tells me that the future United States Armed Forces are going to run the ball right down the North Texas field all day long. Nobody wants to see Army’s magical run end now so this feels like all of America is behind our boys in black and gold. Gimme Army to cover 3 points.

Best Bet: Army -3

  1. Vanderbilt (+5.5) vs. South Carolina

I'll be the first to admit last weekend's performance against Texas A&M was impressive and likely gives the common fan reason to turn away from this line but as Lee Corso so famously says, not so fast my friend! Deigo Pavia and Vanderbilt have been this year’s Cinderella squad and they are no joke. This game is at Vandy too, giving me more reason to back the Commodores. I think it's easier to get hyped up at home with a traditional top-25 team than it is to take on a scrappy team on the road.

Best Bet: Vanderbilt +5.5

  1. Missouri (+3) vs. Oklahoma

Another week another ridiculous line coming from the guys upstairs. Mizzou may have been trounced last week against Alabama but this Oklahoma team isn't anything close to Bama’s level. Mizzou’s Brady Cook may be out for another week due to injury but regardless of if he goes or not, Oklahoma can't score enough points to steak this game past the +3. Gimme the Tigers at home to cover.

Best Bet: Missouri +3

  1. BYU (-3) vs. Utah

I swear there is someone somewhere that has a huge grudge against the Cougars. By my count this is the 3rd line deemed absolutely ridiculous, the first two having cashed for us on this series. Utah just isn't the same without old man Cam Rising (8th-year college grandpa) and Zach Wilson’s younger brother isn't the answer against the 8-0 BYU Cougars. Gimme BYU in the battle for Utah bragging rights.

Best Bet: BYU -3

  1. Ole Miss (+2.5) vs. Georgia

I thought long and hard about this one but decided why not live dangerously? Ole Miss has been a spread dominator before running into a couple of SEC roadblocks. I've heard all week that by the analytics Ole Miss matches up well against Georgia's deficiencies. The final pro that ticked me to Ole Miss’s corner was that this game is bound to be a shootout and I'll side with Kiffin and that offense whenever the craziness begins. Rebels to shock the college football world this weekend and pull off the upset.

Best Bet: Ole Miss +2.5
