The boys are rolling into Week 3 of the college football season. After a hot week going 6-2 on Week 2 picks, we are now 11-5 on the season up 6 units on the year. Let’s keep it going, here are the best bets for Week 3.
Friday night's marquee matchup pits the high-scoring Wildcats offense on the road against an outstanding Kansas State team. I expect this game to easily hit the over in a game that’s sure to be back and forth. Don’t overthink this game.
Best Bet: O60.5
Florida State is reeling after two stunning losses as the favorite in each matchup. It can't happen for a third time, right? The Seminoles should have a clear talent disparity over this Memphis team and with the line being less than a touchdown, this should be an easy cover.
Best Bet: Florida State -6.5
In the Apple Cup rivalry lately, UW has owned the Cougars. Washington has looked great on defense through two games plus considering the line has run from -3 to -5.5 makes me expect an easy UW victory.
Best Bet: Washington -5.5
Ole Miss spreads have assumed the same standing as Iowa under’s from last year. I will be taking their spread every week until they lose against it. Simply put, the offense looks as elite as I've ever seen a college offense. They have veteran superstars that have been in the Kiffin system for multiple years now and it's a marvel to watch their offense. Onward Rebels spread!
Best Bet: Ole Miss -21.5
Similar to Ole Miss, Tennessee’s offense is explosive having scored 48+ points in both games. Kent State will end up being a bottom 5 FBS team by the end of the year after seeing their performances in the first two games. Tennessee should roll Kent State similar to the Chattanooga game.
Best Bet: Tennessee -49
UConn is another really bad team coming into this week 0-2. Duke looked good in two wins so far behind transfer QB Maalik Murphy. With Duke’s staunch defense and Murphy’s big play ability, I'm expecting a Duke blowout win.
Best Bet: Duke -16.5
