The Biden DOJ reportedly spent tens of millions of dollars investigating the Biden family. The department found him guilty twice - on tax evasion and gun crime.
The tens of millions, and both convictions amounted to absolutely nothing, because the President after repeatedly insisting that he’d never pardon his son - did just that. The pardon came roughly a week before Hunter Biden was set to be sentenced.
According to the Daily Caller, investigator David Weiss spent $2.2 million dollars between October of 2023 and March of 2024 alone.
Robert Hur, the special counsel responsible for investigating Joe Biden over his handling of classified documents, spent more than $6 million dollars only to reach a conclusion that any average American could have reached.
Hur concluded that Joe Biden was a well-intentioned old man with a poor memory, incapable of knowing what he was doing. This led Hur to believed that no jury would convict the sitting President for mishandling those classified documents.
Many of the documents in question, were stored in his garage, near a toolbox behind his Corvette. Trump on the other hand, charged with a similar crime stored his documents in what was formerly a SCIFF built into his home while he was president.
Biden also stored classified materials in his office at Delaware University. The materials were items acquired during his tenure as Vice President under Barack Obama.
By contrast, the federal government spent $47.5 million investigating Trump with Jack Smith at the helm. These investigations, also resulted in no conviction, with Smith motioning for the cases against the President-Elect to be dismissed. Smith ultimately got his way, and the charges against Trump will not be further perused.
