FBI Closes its DEI Office Ahead of Trump Inauguration
Grok

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has closed its office of Diversity Equity and Inclusion according to the agency. The closure allegedly happened in December of 2024 just after Donald J. Trump was elected to be the next President of the United States.

The bureau did not specifically address why it closed the DEI office, but the implications were clear. In 4 days Trump will take the full reigns of the executive branch of the federal government and will oversee the agency. The office could not have survived.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn recently cited concerns to FBI director Christopher Wray that the incompetence of DEI hires in the agency put Americans at risk. She specifically cited the incompetence of the lead investigator of the New Orleans terrorist attack just a few weeks ago.

The lead investigator initially claimed that the attack was not terrorist in nature, walked that claim back and announced that it was. She also initially claimed that the attacker had accomplices but was proved wrong once again.

The Bureau publicly proclaimed that diversity was one of its core values. Their DEI web page proudly stated "committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.”
