Kathy Hochul Feels Cold Shoulder At Slain Officer's Wake

Kathy Hochul, governor of New York reportedly left the wake of slain NYPD officer Johnathan Diller early.

A visibly aggravated man in a black suit was seen confronting the governor during the event. Reports indicate that he was telling her that she needed to leave.

A recording of the encounter showed the agitated mourner gesture and point away from the event.

Rogan O’handley, known as DC Draino online alleged that Hochul was only at the wake for 10 minutes before evacuating. He also argues that Hochul’s bail reforms are responsible for the deaths of officers like Diller.

The gunman, 34-year-old Guy Rivera had previously been arrested 21 times including for first degree robbery, illegal gun possession, and selling drugs to an undercover police officer.

Diller and his partner had approached a parked vehicle that Rivera was inside of.  Diller ordered the man to step out of his vehicle, to which Rivera responded by refusing, and pulling out a firearm. Diller was ultimately shot in the torso, below his protective vest.

"This is a vicious career criminal who has the mentality to kill a New York City police officer. He's a dangerous individual. Should have never been on the streets," Police Benevolent Association (PBA) President Patrick Hendry said.
