Last night there was a mass shooting at a Queens nightclub called Amazura. The club is in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, and was hosting a private event. 90 people were allegedly inside the venue, with 15 outside waiting to enter.
Four assailants approached the building and fired at least 30 rounds, injuring 11 people. At least six were females, and four were males. Most of the injured are teenagers ranging from ages 16-20.
So far no arrests have been made, and the assailants fled in a grey sedan which police are now searching for. As of right now, the police are not treating this as a terrorist incident. Some reports indicate the private event may have been honoring a prominent gangster who was killed.
All of the victims of the attack are expected to recover. Their injuries are reportedly non-life threatening.
