Matt Gaetz has announced that following a meeting with Senators he has fully withdrawn from his nomination as Attorney General and will not pursue the position any longer.

Gaetz seems to believe that if a senate confirmation is held to make him AG, that the vote would not confirm and grant him the position. Thus he has taken his name out of that hat totally.

Conspiracy theorists continue to post online speculating that Matt Gaetz has had sexual encounters with young women, despite there being a total lack of evidence.

Gaetz was investigated in 2021 by the DOJ, sex trafficking an underage girl, but after several years the investigation concluded in 2023 with no charges due to a lack of evidence against Gaetz. Now the House Ethics Committee continues to rake Gaetz over hot coals, attempting to prove him wrong.

The Ethics Committee wastes your tax dollars investigating what the DOJ has already deemed unprovable.

Gaetz has already resigned as a representative in the House, and it’s unclear where he will go next in his political career, but it won’t be Attorney General.
