SECOND Assassination Attempt On Donald Trump: What We Know
Council Foreign Relations

Sunday there was another attempt on former President Donald Trump’s life. According to CNN, the FBI is investigating “what appears to be an attempted assassination” on the 45th President.

Shots rang out on one of Trump’s golf courses in Florida 300-400 feet from Trump himself. A secret service agent allegedly saw a rifle barrel sticking out of a fence and perused the gunman.

Unlike the last shooter, the suspect - Ryan Wesley Routh was taken into custody alive. CNN claims that 3 law enforcement sources have corroborated this fact. Mainstream news outlets appear to also be giving the shooter the “three name treatment” donned by many presidential assassins and attempted assassins.

Routh however, appeared to according to unconfirmed reports just call himself “Ryan Routh” on social media.

Before being caught, Routh reportedly fled in a vehicle - but was stopped before long on the highway. An AK-47, a go pro, and backpacks were recovered by law enforcement from the spot where the shooter perched.

Trump has released statements letting his supporters that he is “safe and well” and according to CNN, he also said “My resolve is only stronger after another attempt on my life! - I will never slow down. I will never give up. I WILL NEVER SURRENDER!”

Kamala Harris and Joe Biden also reportedly both “relieved” to know that the former President is unharmed.

Andy Ngo uncovered that Routh was a pro-Ukraine activist - who was actively recruiting people to go and fight in the war. Ngo also found that he seemed to be sort of "obsessed" with the war and "repeated many Democrat talking points"

This has left many X users pointing out that the accusations and slander against Trump have likely led to the slew of attempts on his life.
