Trump Documents Case Terminated

Trump Documents Case Terminated

Just after the DOJ’s January 6th election case fell flat on its face, Jack Smith filed to have the case against Trump related to his possession of sensitive documents terminated as well. That request was granted on Tuesday.

With his New York “hush money” sentencing paused, the documents case terminated, the January 6th trial dropped and the Georgia election case in limbo - Trump’s legal future looks bright.

Smith claims that these cases are being dismissed due to a long standing DOJ policy not to prosecute sitting Presidents. Democrats have countered Smith by pointing out that the United States has a policy that no single person is above the law. If Smith truly had evidence capable of convicting Trump, it seems the cases would be paused until after his second term rather than outright terminated.

Nonetheless, despite the claims of countless democrats over the last 9 years, Donald Trump is a free man, and the next President of the United States. When Democrats go after political opposition, they throw the kitchen sink. Federal prosecution, state prosecution, impeachments, lawsuits, anything under the sun to assasinate the opponents reputation.
