Police believe they have caught the man responsible for killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Thompson was shot and killed in New York City in broad daylight. The suspect fled on a bike and lost the police in Central Park, where they later found his backpack.
The suspect, Luigi Mangione was caught in Pennsylvania. Mangione is 26 years old, and was arrested by Altoona police on unrelated gun charges.
In Pennsylvania, he received 5 separate gun charges including carrying without a license, forgery, falsely identifying himself to the police and possessing instruments of a crime.
Reports indicate that when Altoona police asked if he had ever been to New York, he began shaking and refused to directly answer the question. Reports do not indicate that charges related to the murder have been officially filed yet.
The left has taken to fetishizing shirtless photos of the man on the internet and praising him for the murder of Thompson. A new crypto coin in his likeness has even arisen.
Some skeptics remain concerned that Mangione isn't even the shooter, but is rather a patsy.
